NATIONAL COTTON STATES ARTHROPOD PEST MANAGEMENT WORKING GROUP

Our Mission

Johnny Crawford, University of Georgia, Bugwood.org

The mission of the National Cotton States Arthropod Pest Management Working Group is to critically review existing recommendations for management of arthropod pests in southern crops, review recent research and Extension efforts, identify and share successes and failures, and help shape priorities in research, education, Extension, and regulation. While consensus is not always possible on all topics, the group would like to extend their mission to address key pest management policy and implementation issues facing southern agricultural IPM by adding their collective voice to ongoing concerns of importance to growers, regulators, industry, and other key stakeholders.
